You can post videos from YouTube directly to your blog, as well. Just click the "Post Video" link under every YouTube video, set up a "Blogger Beta" blog for use with your YouTube account and then add text. Finally, click "Post to Blog" and send the video to a new post.

Blogger offers the choice of several different font families. You can use Georgia (my favorite), Arial, Courier, Lucida Grande, Times, Trebuchet, Verdana, or be exceedingly confusing and use Webdings (Webdings.) You can also control size, style and color on the fly, just as easily as in a desktop word processing application.

Blogger makes it very easy to be expressive and dynamic with text.

Speaking of dynamic, you can also add links to other web articles to your blog posts. Just type the text for your link, highlight, press the link button and then enter the URL in the resulting dialogue box.

You can add photos to your blog posts on the fly, too. Blogspot will host images you upload from your computer and offers a simple interface for choosing images, positioning and sizing.

After you've entered the contents of your post, you can preview what the results will look like to your readers and add metadata in the form of "tags" or keywords. You can even set advanced post options like allowing or disallowing reader comments and timeshifting the date/time of your post.
